About

AMELIA MANN was born Scandinavian but is now a citizen of the world. She has worked with opera in theaters all over Europe and in the US, and maybe that is her excuse for being completely hooked on writing dramatic, grand, and über-romantic stories where love conquers all.

Her friends prefer using less fancy words and just call her for what she is: a total drama queen.

She wrote her first gay male romance to celebrate that her oldest friends, after living together for decades as husbands, could finally be legally married. It is thanks to them she believes in true love and a happily ever after.

Amelia has been nominated for LAMBDA 2014 together with her fellow writers at Beaten Track Publishing for the anthology Boughs of Evergreen. She has also been nominated twice for the Goodreads MM Romance Member’s Choice Awards 2014, one in the 'Best Hurt/Comfort' category. She has learned the hard way that the sun shines brightest after the rain and hurt and comfort are her favorite themes.

Amelia has very small demands when it comes to carrying out her writing. She needs the man muted, all other humans in the household asleep, and the dog exercised and fed. Because when all is quiet and the day nearly over, that is when the guys in her head start talking.
